I believe that your system can run all the newest leopard versions (10.5.6, 10.5.7, 10.5.8) but you have to:
1)Adjust your bios correctly
2)Select the appropriate patches from the installation dvd

I think that you have to be more specific if you want to receive more help and not some general tips. You can also make some research through the net in order to find some people who have a working leopard installation in a system close to yours. As you can see my setup is entirely different than yours,so I cannot provide you more specific information for the time being

About my system:
Motherboard: Supermicro H8DAE-2 with nVidia MCP55 Pro chipset which supports up to two Six-Core AMD Opteron 2000/8000 processors
Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DAE-2 (http://supermicro.com/Aplus/motherboard/Opteron2000/MCP55/H8DAE-2.cfm)
Processor: 1x Opteron 8214 (for the time being) :-)
Ram: 4 GB Samsung DDR2 667 Registered ECC Unbuffered
Graphics Card: Nvidia 9400 GT
I also have two SATA hard disks, 120 GB and 640GB , a Sony IDE DVD reader and an Optiarc DVD Recorder.

Someone said that there was a big problem with the nForce motherboards so I really want to know if the nForce 630i is compatible or not!

I know this xD

no other version runs, al thow errors.. but i tried LEO4ALL (MacOSX 10.5.4) and it worked for me and my nForce Chipset (MCP 61 or something)

My chipset is nvidia MCP55Pro(=nForce professional 3600) :-) Right now I'm using leopard 10.5.8 which is rock-stable on my system. Some nForce SATA controllers are supporting AHCI mode, and some others(like mine) don't. I'm using AppleNforceATA.kext and a slightly modified IOATAFAMILY.kext and everything is fine.If your controller supports AHCI mode I think that you will not need AppleNForceATA.kext. I'm also using NForceLAN.kext which is also working perfect with my dual on-board lan.
You have to find the right kexts for your system in order to make a succesful leopard installation. I had to install leopard many times in order to find the most appropriate installation options,as I hadn't found any info provided by someone who had successfully installed leopard on an opteron serverboard.

Oh,by the way, my favourite distro for PC is XXX 10.5.6! I think that this was the last one that the xxx team made.Anyway,it's easy to update it to 10.5.8. I had also managed to install iAtkos v7, but the AppleNforceATA test kext was responsible for some kernel panics during installation.
I still believe that you have to make a research to collect informations from people who are having similar systems with yours in order to make leopard run without too much effort! :-)

Ok but I dont understand how to integrate a driver before installing the system! Thats something I cant understand. Can someone explain it to me it would be nice!

It's not that hard! Kext=kernel extension=driver, so forget about what you may already know about drivers for windows. This is a totally different approach!
If you create an installation dvd with the proper kexts for your system inside it, you will be fine! But the easiest way is to get a pc-based distribution like iatkos, ideneb, xxx,iPC e.t.c. and install leopard from it. And that's because many kexts/patches are included on such dvds.

Oh... Then Fine, but how to integrate a driver in the cd?Why to do so if you can d/l some prepatched distribution, which has them already integrated & install-ready, like the ones mentioned above?

If you don't want to pirate OS X, you can also create a custom 132 bootloader cd for your system, that makes you able to make use of a retail DVD, but that's a bit more pretentious... ;)

Yeah but, what's the one that will work? Most up-to-date OSx86 Distros are Universal ones that work on most hardware - the more your configuration is very easy - so just get one out of the latest releases, like iAtkos v7, iPC PPF5 or something like that.

You maybe will also need to add a kext file for making OS X work on your nForce Chipset..

And I don't understand, why the hell you should be forced to do so?!
I don't see any reason for that...

MBD - MSI G45 Digital (MS-7521)
Chipset - P45/P43
SB - Intel 82801JR (ICH10/R)
CPU - Q8200 Quad Core
Instructions - MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1 EMT64T
Video - GeForce 9800 GT
Memory – 4096

I've tried to load iDeneb 1.4 on it and it would go through and stop on restart. So i've tried 1.6 and i get a Kernel Panic on the start of the installation. I'm waiting for a friend to give me a version of iAtkos that will work on my hardware. Do you foresee any problems with the hardware as stated above.
What i have seen is that the Graphics card only registers 14mb (VESA 14mb (nVIDIA)) just before the installation starts. (It does see it as 512 in the POST of the machine.)
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Werner

PS. Just added my hardware to the SIG

Hello,

I have a HP Pavillon 8150 Dual Core 2,8 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 64 bits capable, with NVidai graphic card EN8800 GT. I run Leopard 10.5.8 on it without any problem with a mach.kernel.voodoo.

I would like to know is if this computer is capable of running SL (a dual core). I tried to install it once, but after the boot, I got just the Apple icon without the spinning wheel.

Thank you for your answer.

I am a little concerned that when i boot, Darwin reports the following
VESA 3.0 14MB (NVIDIA). As far as i can gather that is reporting the video memory wich is supposed to be 512, not 14. Any ideas on that ?
Regards
W

Imkantus if you are still there, I am obliged to do so, otherwise the CD won't boot up! When I but up in every distros, it makes a kernel error. But, i'll try your link.

So i've tried iAtkos, Kalyway, ToH and iDeneb v3. So here are the errors: iAtkosv7: It closes when starting loading (the grey on white background Apple Logo.) Kalyway: Same thing as iAtkos. ToH: Stucks on Using 10485... iDeneb: Same thing as ToH if putting: maxmem=2048 platform=ACPI -x otherwise, if I do not put maxmem=2048, Still waiting for root device.

I made the iDeneb installation, but it doesnt detect my SATA hard drive so I installed it on my USB Key. I have a IDE hard drive, but I cannot plug it at the same time as my IDE DVD Drive... I want to know if I can transfer my installation to a Hard Drive Disk. Thanks for helping..
