"This RC3 build is a small update to RC2, but we’re providing the long-awaited proper Snow Leopard extensions loading and a few fixes like 1TB+ disk addressing support. There are also some changes have been made to the graphics enabler and to the smbios patcher. Also you can even build the Chameleon sources under 10.6.

About the new options

SMBIOS
Finally you can specify your smbios.plist location using a device selector prefix like “SMBIOS=rd(0,0)/Extra/smbios.plist”.

VideoROM
You can pass an alternate video ROM image file to the system.

VBIOS
Using this boolean switch, you can control the injection of your video BIOS to device-properties. We got various reports if this switch is really needed to make your graphics device handled correctly by the system."

This is friggin' sweet. Was having a little trouble getting SL going using PCEFI, but after installing this, it booted right up!

looks like EFI Strings doesn't work for graphic cards anymore!
and it's tedious to boot into x32 mode, and my Sony IDE DVD RW Drive wasn't detected as well...

Going back to the PC-EFI10 mode...

Still booting fine, but any idea why i'm getting this after the countdown right before it boots to my default partition?

Works great for me (running Snow Leopard).

I actually got that exact same problem last night. Chameleon was booting fine and I was installing software and restarted and got that. I ended up reinstalling leo on another partition and then reinstalled chameleon rc3 on the SL partition from Leo and it booted. Still getting that error in my previous post, but it seems to boot just fine.

works for me, too. actually that's the first version 2 that works for me.
however i see no reason why i should use it instead of 1.0.12.
