My download for 10.6.1 was only 9.8mb. Is this because it was a retail snow dvd install? Maybe?

Also, needed to have CPUPowerManagement running to avoid a KP.

Just installed on my AMD machine. Works fine.

You must not restore or update BOOT or kernel files after upgrade.

Just updateD my ASUS P5E-VM all working, booted fine after update

I have a P5E-VM HDMI...just installed Vanilla 10.6 last night (bought the OS at BestBuy...had it running at home within a few hours), and upgraded to 10.6.1 no problem through software update.

Have everything working except sleep...

Anyone have sleep working on this "flavor" motherboard?

Thanks,

/mdg.
