iTunes 9 Home sharing - Not working

I've updated yesterday to the new version of iTunes. I was very excited about the new feature called 'Home Sharing'. it turned out that I installed the software (iTunes 9 ) in all my the notebooks and when I finished the home sharing setup all the sharings disappeared form the sidebar and did not appear again.
Has anyone had the same problem?
I read on the apple forums it is a very common problem.

I have an iMac with Mac OS 10.5.8 and an HP laptop with Windows XP SP2. I solved the Home Sharing problem by uninstalling Bonjour (Apple networking software) on the PC and installing the latest version of Bonjour (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/application_updates/bonjourforwindows.html).
