My Stuff:
QuadCore AMD Opteron 1352, 2069 MHz (10.5 x 197)
Motherboard Name HP ProLiant ML115 G5
Motherboard Chipset nVIDIA nForce 570 SLI, AMD K10

When trying to install iATKOS v7 I get this screen

Because I have a AMD Opteron Quadcore I think I need to change the kernel it uses.
I've downloaded AnV_Kbuild is this the right Kernel to try?
I've got no idea how to install this to the dvd image. Could someone tell me then my life can go on?

OR

If there's an easier way to get 1.5.6 or high installed on a AMD Opteron quadcore I'd like to know :)
The Lawless version I use to run crashed when encoding video and is too old for the new FC pro.
thanks for the help. I really need a mac to do editing

If you want to install it on ISO use transmac a shareware software which will help you to add stuffs into ISO.. . I really doesn't know whether AnV_Kbuild is right for AMD Opteron, because i have been using AMD Phenom II X4 955.. try Voodoo Kernal or else use Vanilla Kernal sometimes it might be helpful.

If the kernel was the problem, you'd probably get a kernel panic. What that symbol usually means is that it can't find your IDE/SATA controller. Try using -v at the Darwin prompt and see if it says "Still waiting for root device". If so it's that it can't find the controller.
