VMware Fusion Snow Leopard Anyone

Hi folks I just tried to install Vmware Fusion and it gives me an error saying I need an Intel Cpu.
Im running a Quad Core on the Gigabyte G31M-ES2L.
Any ideas

Try this :

- Mount the VMWare Fusion installer.
- Open the .dmg folder and search for "Install VMware Fusion". Right-click, and Show Package Contents.
- Ok, here open Contents, then Resources. And You'll find "Install VMware Fusion" file again. Show it's contents.
- Browse to contents again, and look for file named "Archive.pax.gz". Copy this archive to Your desktop.
- Unpack the archive and copy the unarchived files to proper locations ( Application to applications, and merge the folder "Library" with the library on Your HD"

That's it, You should be able to use it now. Hope it'll be useful.

I noticed a beta of fusion and grabbed it and all installed well and is working.

I did it the way it was said in here, however I get this all the time.

"VMware Fusion could not connect to virtual machine.

Make sure you have rights to run the program and to access all directories it uses and rights to access all directories for temporary files."

There must be something missing?

EDIT: Tried out VMware Fusion 3.0

You don't need to do the show package steps or anything, since you can actually go through the entire installer without being stopped anymore. It also seems to be VERY stable on my GA-G31MES2L

I have a small problem when installing VMware 3.0. The first time I installed Mac OS more then Windows 7, and boot into Mac Vesion 3.0 installed but when running VMware on VMware to Bootcam (Windows 7). Drying out the error. it started to boot into Windows 7. Fix the problem to run something. but I did not have the results. Who has ideas or help me with anything.

I use Parallels 5 and it is great. Very simple to setup as it recognizes my windows partition As a boot camp partition
