I have an old compaq c500 laptop that i want to install osx on. I installed a copy of Iatkos v7 on a brand new drive that i put in the machine and it went all the way through and said i must restart to complete installation. I've read all over the web that this particular model machine should work fine with osx with a little magic on the wireless card. Anyway, no matter what boot options i choose it boots directly to a blank blue screen and plays the music from the welcome video and thats all i can get out of it. I am a total noob to osx (pc guy) and would really like to learn how to get this to work. I would appreciate any help or a point in the right direction. I also have a copy of IPC 10.5.6 universal that i could try if necessary.

Got it to boot. Now i need to work out the few bugs. I'm running 1024x768 instead of 1280x800 and i need to figure out the wireless issue and if its even possible to make it work.

Q: How you got it to boot? Cuz I got the same problem, except it just shows me a white page with Apple's logo and a loading circle, and I hear the music, but nothing shows up!

I have a Presario c700 and I can run Kalyway 10.5.4 flawelessly. But as soon as the install is finished with iATKOS 7 it boots giving me the shutdown screen.

Can someone please tell me what kind of options I need to tick in the 'customize' menu to get this working?

Thanks in advance
