So I want to install Snow or Leopard on my AMD Laptop (HP DV6000) But there is one issue currently in my way.

I set the USB stick or HDD (with snow) to first in the bios, but after it gets past BIOS, it powers off, and reboots. I tried Chameleon RC1, RC3, PCEFI 10.3, and all power it down.

Windows 7 boots fine though. Anyway to solve this issue?

did you replace the kernel?

Yes, but the problem is chameleon does not even show up, it just powers off before the GUI on chameleon even appears.

how much RAM do you have in the laptop? If it's more than 4 gigs, type maxmem=4096 at the darwin prompt and see if it works. I had a similar problem with my AMD desktop machine.

The darwin screen does not show up at all, As I said, it reboots instantaneously.

Try plugging in a keyboard and mouse and see if that makes any difference

I will try that later, but if I get it to work, how would I use the laptop on the go if i have to use a keyboard plugged in?

No, it still powers down. I added a keyborrd and mouse, and installed Chameleon RC3, Netkas PCEFI 10.0-10.5 and still the laptop just powers off. its a HP (AMD) DV6000.
