I'm using a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard and the onboard ethernet port.
I had a fully functional iATKOS v7 system with the internet working and I accidently enabled the onboard serial and parallel ports in my bios and booted into OS X. The serial port showed up as a new network device and my ethernet didn't work. I disabled onboard serial and parallel, booted back into OS X and my ethernet still did not work (it said the cable was unplugged when it wasn't).
I booted off the iATKOS cd and reinstalled drivers and when i booted into OS X the internet worked. I thought the problem was solved until i rebooted and now im back to it saying my ethernet cable is unplugged and the internet not working.
How can I fix this?
