Hi all,

Just thought I'd add a data point for success stories.

I just had a very pleasant experience using the iAtkos disk to build a T60p to Leopard. It went very smoothly indeed. The only glitch was when I tried to upgrade to Snow Leopard - I hadn't used a GUID partition table, and SL doesn't like that. A quick reinstall, and all is well.

The next challenge is to get it to use the wireless card running - I haven't got that far yet. Once I get it going, I'll let you know how.

Really, I just wanted to say a big thanks to all the guys who made this work so well!

GREAT JOB GUYS.:D

Good ! Now come the questions :D
1) the iatkos disk builds a osx10.5 ?
2) you did upgrade to SL straight from the DVD ?
3) did you add any kext ?
4) did you have to do any modification ??

As you can see, these are basic questions... I have OSX 10.5.8 running fine on my T60, but in no way I can get SL to boot at all. The best i get is the dreaded "still waiting for root device" and it's for a "patched appleintelpiiata" :(

In case you have modified kexts or dsdt or fakesmc or whatever, do you mind zipping these extras and making them available ?

Thanks
