i just installed 10.6 SL on my laptop and i found that my sleep mode and usb aren't working. i tried installing the usb and sleep enable kext but they don't work. I could care less about usb at this point but i really want my sleep mode to work. the actual system would go to sleep but my display wouldn't turn off and when i close the lip the fans are still running. When i try to wake the pc back up from sleep it seems like it freezes. my tech specs are that the pc is running a t5800 c2d @ 2.0 ghz with a gm45 northbridge and a ICH9-M south bridge. i don't know what mobo it's running.
