Hi,

I have another spare sata HDD doing nothing right now and I was thinking of installing WINXP on a system where my Mac Leopard ideneb 10.5.8 is already running.

Could someone with experience on how to install another HDD for Winxp to work with existing HDD which is hosting the mac osx right now? What do I need to make it happen. Would appreciate the pointers...

Regards,
Lee

Install the HDD and install Windows in it. As simple as that. Hopefully Chameleon will detect it after.

Unfortunately it will detect it but you will not be able to boot it from chameleon.

I would make the new Windows HD the first one in the bioses HD priority - later you can add chain0 (google for it) to the Windows Bootloader to be able to select Chameleon from there. :)

Thanks all for the valuable advices...

I will do it this weekend. I do have Acronis Disk Director Suite installed on my WinXP, perhaps I can use the OS Selector to boot either XP or Leopard.

I havent tried but it should work, you cant chain load xp from chameleon but you can chain load chameleon from most other boot mamagers.
