Amazon currently has the Gateway LT2022u 10.1" netbook on sale for $229 with free shipping:

Has anyone attempted to install Mac OS X on one of these? Internal hardware appears to be a good match, but I haven't found any OS X specific information yet.

These should be identical to the Acer Aspire One 10" model. The 9" AAo had good OSX support minus wifi and sleep. I think the 10" version is about the same as well.

I think at the time I used the MSIWindOSX iso...but things could have changed since then!

Which version of osx are you running 10.6.2 with vanilla 10.2.0 kernel? EDIT Also try using the bootloader off usb and select the drive where osx is installed to and see if it boots thats way.

If you use iatkos v7 and select your hardware, it works well. (minus wifi and ethernet and sleep) You can easily pick up an Airlink mini usb adapter for cheap. I got mine for 13 bucks or something like that with free shipping. I think there may even be kexts for the broadcom wifi but i never got them to work. These make decent cheap hackintosh's. You can't complain about a cheap (very cheap) Intel Mac.

Any success with turning the LT2022u into a hackintosh?
