Hi Brothers ,
I have a major proplem and i am stuck without any solutions !
I have hp pavilion elite 9651me desktop , here are some of the main features :
- Intel C2Q 2.66 GHZ Processor
- 4 GB Ram
- 1 GB Nvidia Geforce GT130 ( pcwiz told me it's a rebadged 8800GT so i can find it's kext )
- Asus IPIBL-LB Motherboard with AMI Bios 5.39 ( current bios : original un-modded 5.32 , i downgraded it so the flashing may work but it didn't )
Now according to this tutorial (http://www.hackint0sh.org/f181/66823.htm) on hackint0sh forums to install leopard on hp pavilion elite desktops the first step is to flash the bios .
here is a video that i recorded to explain my situation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfdidcvyuZw
i posted the topic in this forum because nobody replies on other's topics on insanelymac and hackintosh.org
Thanks .

Forget about flashing your BIOS.
This is not safe nor necessary.
Get latest iAtkos v7 it will create a patched DSDT on default - maybe you'll need to boot the setup, using "cpus=1" flag. :)

i already downloaded iAtkos and iPc too , i tried to install iAtkos but i wasn't have enough primary partitions ( 1 for leopard - 1 for snow - 1 for restoring image ) , so i installed it on extended partition and it didn't work ever , even darwin not appears - probably becayse leopard doesn't boot on extended partition , just a small question : can you help me to choose customization ?

Am I right: You want to install Leopard and Snow Leopard on that machine or that HD, only?
So why use MBR partition scheme?
Better use GUID / GPT partition scheme for OS X. :)
just a small question : can you help me to choose customization ?Try with a minium of options i.e. "iATKOS v7 Main System, Chameleon v2, /Extra, DSDT, dsmos, Disabler, Intel SATA/IDE, VoodooHDA & Post-Install Acts" - then install EFI String for 8800GT1GB using OSx86 Tools & you should have pretty much everything working. :)

i used similar customization not the same
but i got a lot of mess :
1. leopard doesn't work - stuck at apple logo - i think it may work with cpus=1 but i can't boot without it after installing chameleon ( no access to f8 anymore )
2. windows doesn'y boot too - i got a recent hardware change ............................................ insert the disc and click repair your computer
so i re-flaged windows partition with boot flag instead of leopard partition and repaired my vista so i can access it again .
how can i move on now ?

First of all read here (http://www.infinitemac.com/f5/help-need-to-install-iatkos-5i-on-my-t4721/post40119.html) how to boot OSx86 from Windows Bootloader.
Secondary post a verbose mode screen - or look for problems yourself. > Enter -v on Chameleon boot prompt.

First off, you're doing an MBR setup. Never a good idea. If I'm not mistaken, Vista supports GPT but uses MBR by default.
Second, your OSes are out of order. Leopard/Snow Leopard is picky and wants to be the first OS on a multi-partition hard drive. Since you're on MBR, you're unable to move or resize partitions, you in order to boot OS X you will need to wipe your hard drive clean, boot from iPC or iAtkos, setup the HDD as GUID and make the partitions you need. Make sure you install OS X on the first partition.
I'm not going to walk you through it, there are guides all over the internet for that. Good luck.

First : Snow Leopard which appears on the chameleon 2 options is just empty partition till now , i have to get leopard workng first so i can install it .
Second : I can't format my hdd to GUID as i already have windows vista working with all of my work and apps .
my peoplem is clear just read post #7 again please :) .

Try booting with cpus=1
In chameleon, just start typing it. You will see it appear in the lower left hand corner.
It's also possible you have one of those computers not compat with Leopard. Check the HCL. The info you are giving doesn't explain it well enough to provide you with a solution.

Thanks for the tip
when booting with cpus=1 it stuck at apple logo but there is a circle moving forever

i tried also cpus=1 -x which helped me before to get leopard working when you didn't install a kext for the vga card but it didn't work either
my vga card is nvidia geforce gt130 ( same as 8800GT ) - maybe this is the reason it's not working ? because i onlt choosed Nvinject in the customization ?

always boot with -v flag, this gives verbose mode if you print what that stops at when you boot someone might be able to help. Also maybe you can skip installing Leopard & go straight to SL by using Empire EFI, worth a go.

But you've tried other things since that screenshot? Like I say ALWAYS use -v, that way we can have a clue what is causing the hang. I think the hanging at mac framework thing has to do with ACPI, using iPC I needed to choose ACPI fix to get past that on my board, I think, its been a while.

it looks like empire efi is great , but how can i by the hell burn 6.5 GB dmg ( snow leopard ) into dvd ?
