I'm trying to setup dual boot system with Windows 7 and Snow Leopard, I have 2 harddrives but I can only boot from the first drive (It's a HP DV7 laptop with 2 hdd bay, but BIOS only boots off the first drive)
I have Windows 7 on the first boot drive with MBR and Snow Leopard with GUID on the second drive.
How do I setup Chameleon to do the dual boot?

Here is what i tried so far:
- Install Chameleon On the SL drive, but i can't boot from that drive
- Try to install chameleon on the windows drive, but that destroys the master boot record

Any help would be appriciated!

I want to keep win7 on the first drive with MBR

you do. you just don't install chameleon on the windows 7 drive. you wouldn't want to either

Are you willing to open up your computer?

I'm assuming both OS harddrives are in bootable condition.

What you want to do is change the boot order of the harddrives.

SATA: Swap the cables to the Windows 7 and the OS X harddrives (AT ONE END ONLY).
ATA: Reverse the master/slave settings. Either reverse the positions on the cable, or set the jumpers to force Master and Slave. If both are on two cables, see SATA

1 SATA/1 ATA: Annoying, but there HAS to be a way to change the boot order in your BIOS. Mine is kinda hidden and easy to miss.

Once OS X is the boot drive, you can install Chameleon
