I will try to give as much info as possible and if anything else is needed, just ask.
I've been trying to get OSx86 on to my HP Pavillion desktop for a while now but most of the distros don't even start up.
Here (http://wiisixtyfour.webs.com/images/cpu-z.png)'s the specs I got.

I eventually got iAtkos v7 to boot by using the flags "mach_970 -v -x". It loads up and I use disk utility to format an 80GB Mac partition (alongside my current 604GB Vista partition and 13.8GB Factory_Image partition). I go to the intsaller and customize and I left most of the settings default (I don't exactly know what does what..) but I did choose Voodoo 9.7 kernel because I think I read somewhere that AMD machines need to choose a kernel in the installer. Then I let the install run and then it says it must restart after it's complete. I restart and Chameleon v2 loads. I chose the OS X partition and it gives me an Apple logo and nothing happens.

I then had to go back to my Vista partition and fix the boot process (since the OS X install messes it up) and that's where I am now.
I think my hardware may not currently be supported so if that's the case, then I can do without OSx86.
Any help would be appreciated.

It just says "Errors encountered while starting up the computer."

Well I don't know a solution for this. Hit it up on google, there are manys with this problem...

I think it might be bootloader related. Propably when you try with a different one?

Well I'm not sure about that, because it does try to load. I'll see if i can get a picture of the screen before it goes black..

Well I've been trying various configurations of drivers and bootloaders, but still no luck yet..
But I've gotten a bit further in the boot process

Any suggestions on "Customize" options for my hardware? I think I gave most of the info in my first post. If not I can find out anything else..

Well I do generally not recommend to choose to much stuff, when using prepatched distros.
Important should be Voodoo 9.7.0, as it's the one you boot the DVD with, nForce Chipset driver, VoodooHDA is allmost working & selecting PS/2 drivers if needed - everything else I would do past installation.

Anyway if I would be in your situation, I would get Seatools and peform some diagnostics on my harddisk for bad sectors...

I got it to boot using those drivers and booting in safe mode, but my [USB] keyboard doesn't work. Without a PS/2 driver it tells me to connect a keyboard. Using Voodoo PS/2 driver it doesn't input anything. I tried plugging in a PS/2 keyboard and it wouldn't boot (not even safe mode)
