Here is my system specs

Tested Worked for me

AMD X2 550 @3.2Ghz @X4
4GB Ram DDR3 Ram
Sapphire Ati Radeon 4670 1Gb Version
Asus M4A78T-E Mobo (790GX Chipset with SB750)
Raptor 74GB Sata HDD

While in Windows you could use transmac for write downloaded img to disk and I just used my usb hdd for installation

Use transmac and write img to usb hdd or usb flash drive than boot it from there i mean select from bios than bootloader will appear and other process same as dvd for install

There is a folder called AMD Fix in img you could put your kext there for auto installation while installing from img.

While you boot img you could you this flags

voodoo -v -x32 cpus=x(depends your) fsb=200000000 (for my pheneom) busratio=x(depends your) maxmem=4096

Than you will see installer :D

You could select in installer the following tweaks

AmdFix(will put Amd_kernel to your root when installation finish)
EvoEnabler(for ati cards btw its worked for me just detected my vga like a 4890 but its oke really awesome using without dongle on vga port and all rezs working correct)
I didnt touch preselected tweaks.

I am using pci network card

D-Link DFE-530TX (used viarhine from ideneb 10.5.8 dvd and working without problem)

Used marvin utility to patch cpuids.

Everything seems fine now really good just waiting for on the fly patching cpuid support now with new kernel(i hope soon).

Hey, you should check out my modified AnV kernel with corrected Phenom FSB detection. It will eliminate the need to use FSB=200000000. It basically doubles the detected FSB so that you can still overclock. Here's the link: http://www.infinitemac.com/f36/anv-qoopz-voodoo-based-kernel-with-corrected-phenom-t5112/

I've recently downloaded and installed this release on my notebook, it is great for doing a base install! After installation you can easily fine tune it with the kexts for your system! My 8930g is working really good and stable on 64bit. For the wifi i'm using the Dell 1490 mini pcie card which works out of the box!

Oh thanks i will try that , but without auto cpuid patch really hard to use osx on amd :) why voodoo team delayed to release new kernel dunno i think lack of man power ? Auto cpuid patch is most important part for amd ,i hope they could return back :)

If you can provide hardware specs than peoples can try to help you on kext selections.

Can this setup be installed on a macbook? I got the setup from a friend to install on my macbook but don't know how to go about it. Please help me out.
It might seem easy to u guyz for me to just get a normal setup and install it on my macbook, but trust me, it isn't. Not with my current location.
thanks in advance.

use MAJOR caution with any of the boot loaders/distros on real your macbook, they could very well break it. I would say def don't do it, but as I once used something to install an early version of OS X on a old as hell imac that was only meant to run classic, I should probably just give a word of caution

a real macbook dosn't need a distro, so why would you ever do it?
