Drivers for Asus P5B-Deluxe on 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

Hi. i installed Universal Snow Loepard V3.6 10.6.2 on my desktop, however when i got to desktop i dont have any drivers. no lan, no sound, no usb, also no video.
Just wondering if anyone also have this board and have found the drivers.

Here is my spec :
Asus P5b Deluxe
E6420
Sapphire 7900 GS 256MB

I have a P5B-Plus which has the sameSpecifications like yours. (Intel P965/ICH8R). I have installed the Original DVD 10.6 (with Empire EFI).

Audio on this board is "ADI® AD1988B 8 -Channel High Definition Audio CODEC", this does not work. Try a firewire or usb audio device. I have a Tascam Fireone and a Behringer U-CONTROL UCA202.

LAN works for me with AttansicL1Ethernet.kext (I am working in 64bit mode)
Put it in /Extra/Extensions or in /System/Library/Extensions
USB works OOB, Firewire works after deleting AppleHPET.kext

here is an EFI String for Geforce 7900 GS. Add it to com.apple.Boot.plist . You can use BBEdit to make it.

If it does not work with Universal Snow Loepard V3.6 10.6.2, use an Original DVD. I don't know what drivers are on Universal Snow Loepard V3.6.

Finally got around to do the instatllion.
1. for onboard audio the VooDooHDA.kext worked fine.

2. the lan kext you posted up there didn't work for my board :( but i got it working for using a patched IONetworkingFamily.kext (for the 88E8056)

3. the EFT string you posted up there worked fine, but it kept giving me kernel panic, after some messing around, i removed all the spacing in the string and it worked!

This post makes a lot more sense to me now that I've got 10.6 running on my first Hack.

My system -> Asus P5B-Plus, q6600 CPU, Asus 8800 GTS (320MB) GPU.

I am up and running using EmpireEFI and then running myHack on the HDD install.

Audio worked with VooDooHDA.kext. No LAN yet, but I will try the patched IONetworkingFamily.kext when I get home tonight. No Firewire yet but I will try deleting the AppleHPET.kext.

I had a lot of trouble getting other BootCDs to work with my system. EmpireEFI is definitely the way to go with this mobo.

Looking forward to reporting firewire and LAN success.

Still no LAN using both the AttansicLiEthernet.kext and the IONetworkingFamily.kext listed above. More playing to be done.

Deleting the AppleHPET.kext did give me firewire, but broke the audio provided by the VooDooHDA.kext. More more playing :)
