I've been trying to convert my PC into a Hackintosh for quite some time now. Unfortunately I don't have access to a computer with max OSX installed. So the method of using a USB is out of the question for me.

Here are my specs:

i7-860 intel Quadcore
ASUS P755PD LE Motherboard
160Gb western digital SATA (dedicated for OSX)
8Gb of DDR3 RAM
ATI Radeon 4770 HD
IDE DVD drive from LiteON.

I downloaded and burned iATKOS v.7 and booted the DVD. It briefly shows the apple screen then quickly reboots.

Is my set up a no go? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Have a same cpu and chipset just a difference vga for me istead your vga mine one 4670

did you try this option while booting ? When boot loadr appear hit f8 than

-v busratio=21

tried with ideneb 10.5.8 lite and hazard 10.6.2 worked , let me know if its working than you could put premade dsdt to /extra and could use latest efi ;)
