hello all,
first post, but i want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences as this has allowed me to now have a working hackintosh
Sony vaio vgn-sr490
after alot of time and kernel panics or mic working but no sound or sound and no mic..... ALOT OF TIME
I managed to get all working well...
here is my modified plist for voodoohda..
i hope this helps others, my personal mod for this was the addition of the OPCIPrimaryMatch key matching deviceID and Vendor ID - in my case x293e8086.
although not a perfect hack as it still does not show up correctly in system profiler but hey i have what i needed..
the next thing on my list is my intel 5100agn card - as that is the final issue before a complete vaio vgn-sr490 hackintosh
i do have my radeon 4570 detected and native resolution of 1280x800 with the ability to plug in external monitor with no issues - Quartz still not working but..... well in time ill work on it
