I installed Retail Copy of SL following this guide;

http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/how-to-install-snow-leopard-on-a-pc-t3137/

Now, I got 10.5.5 on one drive and Windows 7 on another drive and last partition I got SL. Everything is working fine except for the graphics card. In the system profiler it shows 512 mb having NVinject 0.2.2 installed. Previously on Leo I used NVinject 0.2.1 which worked perfect. But doesn't seem to work with SL. I tried almost everything removing all NV*.* and Ge, EFI string, but to no avail. There's also a problem with OSx86 tools when I check Repair Permissions and run task it gives me error APPLESCRIPT ERROR 9900. No package found on disk and can't install KEXT via OSx86 tool (The way i usually install kext).
Any help???
Tried google a lot. Now i m left with no choice :/
My full hardware configuration;
Dg33FB Mobo
Intel c2D E4600 processor
160 GB SATA HD
Dual Layer DVD burner.
8500 GT Nvidia 1GB
On board Ethernet working perfect.

Please!!!!.....

No need buddy to be so frustrated, we'll fix that :-)

When Disk Utility shows some errors they might be the consequence of Snow leopard being installed from within Leopard 10.5. Did you install your 10.6 from retail dvd in 10.5? If so you might have to reinstall base system from 10.6. I am not absolutely sure but i am pretty much sure that's the cause.

I have 8500GT which i run off the dsdt. I think that aty_init will fix your graphic issue. You shouldn't remove the kexts this card works without any other drivers but the native. You only need the proper enabler, so download aty_init and try with it first.

Boot to 10.6 and re-run installation from there to reinstall just the base system. You can find aty_init on netkas site:

ok! nicely done I booted to 10.6 and ran the package Base System and installed. I had backup of all the kexts, restored them and trying to get my Gfx to work out.

Sadly, ATY_init didn't work for me! any suggestions... how do you use EFI string method?? I also got 10.5.5 on an other hard drive, would that be of any help?

Ok! at last I solved it :)
Thanks milanca for your time, It was easy once you told me how to resolve the issue with OSx86 tools, After installing the base system I started OSx86 tools, from there I went to Add efi string/boot flag, I choose my Gfx card i-e 8500 GT 1GB generated the string and applied to apple.boot.plist. Reboot..... voila... its done :)

May be I could turn my whole experience of Installing a perfectly running Snow Leopard. On DG33FB :/
But I am still scared of update, that might get me more frustrating... lolz just kidding But I will stick to 10.6 for a couple of more days.
