I want to rebuild my kextcache and my bootable external hard drive stopped working so I can't do this through the Snow Leopard DVD (Or hard drive).

What I do have is my Snow Leopard partition, which shows me a kernel panic when I boot it up.

I tried these flags:
-s
-x32 -s
-x32 -s -v -x -f

they all show me kernel panics.
Without any flags, I get a kernel panic about Extensions, which is why I want to rebuild the kextcache. Otherwise, I get a kernel panic without really any explanation and only with numbers.

I do have a bootable iAtkos v7 DVD. Except its terminal is Leopard so it doesn't have the same kextcache command.

Is it possible to use the kextcache command from my Snow Leopard partition through the leopard terminal?
