Greetings guys. I still cannot get rid of this error in the system log.
kernel[0]: GFX0: family specific matching fails
kernel[0]: display: family specific matching fails
This error keeps coming in system log even though I injected the EDID value and something else under the Device(PEGP) entry. It still not accepted my Mac any idea to fool the OS X this display is mac family? My display works just well without any DSDT or Display override hack but it always keep coming of this kernel error. How to get rid of `em? Anyone succeeded doing this via a DSDT fix? I checked SLICE`s DSDT and he doesn`t have a Device (PEGP) entry but he added a hell of fix, don`t know if he worked out the problem. If u or anyone worked out this issue please let me know. It stalls the boot time. I`m sure if this fix our hackintosh would boot faster.
