kext / driver query from 10.5.6 to 10.6.2

Hi,

I have installed the snow leopard 10.6.2 on my dell inspiron 1420 without any problem. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif But unfortunately http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif the snow distro which I have installed don't have audio, video(QE/CI) any many drivers for the mentioned laptop. But my old leopard 10.5.6 iPC distro contains all the appropriate drivers for the laptop which works fine for me. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

So, Is some way to copy or installed the appro. kext or driver file from iPC Leo to Snow Leo.As I already tried to setup the laptop specific drivers of iPC distro into installed snow leopard but after installation the snow leopard behavior is weird and its completely crash ie. with boot loader. I don't understand how it hapeen as I only installed the audio, video and network driver only not more then that. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif

So, can you provide me some way, How should I copy or installed the kext from old leo to new Snow ? and yes I had not update the old leop to new Snow. Its an fresh installation.
