Hi guys,

Firstly I'd like to say that I'm a total noob, so please go easy on me.

So I've spent the last few days trying to get a dualboot 7/SL system running with marginal success.

I have installed 7 (Ultimate 64bit) on one partition, Leopard (10.5.7 with iAtkos v7) on another, and (an unbootable) SL (10a432), and have read many, many tutorials. Firstly, my system config:

Intel Core i7 920
Gigabyte GA-EX58-DS4
Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+
9GB RAM (3x2 Gskill + 3x1 Corsair)

So I've followed the tutorials, installed SL from the 10.5.7 environment, installed all the kexts, but still get kernel panics.

I have tried installing the 9.8.0 voodoo kernel as well (not too sure about installation procedure - I used OSX86Tools to do this), but I still get Kernel Panics.

Here is a description of what happens when I boot with -x32 -s:

kld_load_from_memory() failed for module net.osrom.kext.Disabler
Failed to load extension net.osrom.kext.Disabler
Failed to load extension es.osx86.driver.EvOreboot
Failed to load extension es.osx86.driver.EvOreboot
Couldn't alloc class "AppleACPIPlatformExpert"
Couldn't alloc class "Disabler"
Couldn't alloc class "es_osx86_EvOreboot"
Please contact Voodoo Software with a photo of the information printed below, along with a description of your system configuration and what you were doing at the time that kernel panic occurred. We apologize for the inconvenience

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0043E3213): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\". \n"@/Users/doobz/Desktop/XNU/xnu-1228.15.4/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1411
Debugger called: <panic>
Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack)
0x7b.........

......

Kernel version:
Darwin Kernel Version 9.8.0: .... xnu-1228.15.4/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386

My final questions: Is it possible for me to run SL on my system, and if so, how can I do this?

Worked like a charm!
