Been working on this for a bit. Got a Dell Optiplex 330 running iATKOS v7. On initial install, I could not use the onboard BMC5787 giganet. Installed a PCI Intel Ethernet Pro 100. Worked well in 10.5.6. Used it to download the update to 10.5.8 and installed. Now the PCI bus is missing and will not read any of the cards I try.
Hardware is Intel Core 2 Duo, G31 board with ICH7 southbridge
onboard BMC5787 not working, Onboard G31 video not working
Using Voodoo driver for ACI audio
nVidia 7300 in PCIe slot
4 gig of 800mhz ram
80gig SATA
System profile comes back with
Model name iMac
Core 2 Duo 2.19
800Mhz bus
BootROM IM81.00CI.800
shows hardware UUID
CI and QE work
using Apple USBUHCI
10.5.8 (9L31a)
Darwin 9.8.0
Does not see PCI slots
Networking does assign En2 but comes back as no cable attached.
