View Full Version : Forgot to install bootloader at setup
Hello, all!
I've forgot to check bootloader option at install (remind it be at bottom of software list in «Zephyroth leo 10.5.2AMD»). So, now I need to keep installation DVD each time I want boot the system.
Is any way to fix this without complete reinstall OSX?

How did you format your Harddrive before Installing?
Master Boot Record (MBR) or GUID?

Hi mate, no problem!
It's important to know though, because in order to install the bootloader properly, you will need to know that Information!
MBR or GUID
With EFI or without EFI
Please navigate to Utilites and start the Disk Utility, choose your Leopard Harddrive and press Info, now check whether it's MBR or GUID.
If you have that information, you will be able to go ahead and install the bootloader manually, I will tell you how to do it.
