My latest Hackintosh project, is a Toshiba Tecra M4-S435 Tablet Laptop with the following specs:
1. Centrino with an Intel M 740 (1.73GHz, 2MB L@, 533MHz FSB), Mobile 915PM Express Chipset
2. Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG (802.11b/g) Integrated Wi-FI,
3. 2MB PC4200 DDR2 333MHz Ram
4. 60GB (5400) Serial-ATA Drive
5. NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 TE 64M (64MB DDR Discrete) up to 256 shared on PCIe Bus(DeviceID:0x0146), PORTS: RGB Monitor Port, TV-Out (S-Video)
6. 14.1" Diagonal TFT active-matrix LCD display at1400x1050 native resolution (SXGA+)
7. Slim Select Bay SelectBay DVD SuperMulti Drive (Double-Layer).
8. AD1981B integrated (16-bit stereo)
9. Toshiba TouchPad and Accupoint
10. IAtkos 10.5.7 updated to 10.5.8 - Build 9L31a
2 MAIN ISSUES:
1.Internal Laptop LCD does not work, Just flickers and then goes blank. External Monitor Works great
Internal Laptop LCD will not work. Everything works perfect when hooked to an external monitor, QE/CI are enabled, as is rotation and QuartzGL. Have not tried S-Video Out and don't really care about it. I would just really like to get the internal LCD working as the Laptop is not portable without it obviously (Actually, the LCD does work if I remove the corevidia kext, but no QE/CI or ability to change resolutions which is necessary in order to run iWork, and other programs). I am using CoreVidia 1.2 and suspect that I may need to add EDID Values but have no clue how to add them. I know how to get them, but not how to add them to the kext. There is no entry line for them. Here is the info from System Profiler:

2: System is seen as a PPC instead of Intel When installing some Programs
What would cause some programs to detect my machine as a PPC instead of Intel. For instance, Silverlight 1.0 won't install because it says it will not run on the PPC architecture. Also, when starting Garageband, it warns me that it won't run on PPC as well as on the Intel architecture, but it starts and runs just fine. There are also a few other programs in System Profiler that show as having installed the PPC version rather than Intel or Universal. Yet System Profiler identifies my machine just fine as an Intel as does the "About my Mac", XBench and Geekbench.
It is more annoying than anything as the only show stopper seems to be that Silverlight won't install, and if I remember right Adobe Shockwave did the same thing. Could it be changing a value in the smbios kext or somewhere ele? System Profiler output:
