Hi, im new to this forum.
I've been a Mac user from 2007-2009 with a MacBook but then switched back fully to PC and windows7 for a while (currently using a legal copy of Windows7 Pro x64).
My current build is:
MB: Gigabyte GA-P55 UD3
CPU: Core i5 750 2.66GHz
GPU: XFX HD4890 OC 1024MB
HDD: 500GB (Windows7), 500GB (empty, OSX disk?), 1TB (storage disk for windows7) and another 1TB im not sure what to use for yet, probably another storage disk.
DVD: Some Pioneer DVD+RW drive.
CASE: Fractal Design Define R2 with Corsair TX650W PSU.
My question is:
Will this work with Snow Leopard? And what do i need to get it working, i saw that there was something called Kakewalk but i couldn't see my motherboard on the support list, only a UD2 P55M board, will it still work?
And i haven't done anything hackintosh related since 2007 when i tried out on a AMD system just before i got MacBook (i don't have the Macbook anymore, sold it). And that was some old 10.4 Tiger stuff :D
So boot loaders and stuff is kind of new for me, because i used to have a special iso back then that just worked.
Have i got it right if i need;
Retail snow Leopard disk, A boot loader (plz tell me which one to get and which works best for my hardware) and thats it? :)
Oh and btw, i want to be able to dualboot OSX Snow Leopard and Windows7 Pro.
OSX for work/chat/movies/music/photo (yeah that sort of thing) and Windows7 Pro only for gaming.
