SL Post Install problem

This is my first post, and I hope my question will not look very noob, because I am in mac OS.
Through reading I managed to install SL universal on my HP Pavilion dv5, then I updated to version 10.6.3 from Apple.
Everything seams to be working ok apart from that some applications such as Quick Time, Preview and any other application I try to install. The applications like iWork09 would open and I can click any button on its bars but I can not write anything in it. checking the log it says something like invalid context and invalid pixel format.

I'm not an expert, but I've heard some distribution of iWork09 has Trojan in it.

I never experienced the same problem, mine was working just fine.

thank you rizalrexy. this maybe the case with iWork09, the other affected programe such as QuickTime are as you know defaults. I don't understand it really?

Anyways thank you for your time reading and writing, I'll try to get another copy and see what will happen.
