I am running 10.6.3 with a GTX260 using NVEnabler (previously used GraphicsEnabler=Y on boot) and am experiencing a strange problem.

Whenever a program, including system preferences, attempts to change the resolution or refresh rate, the display starts outputting white/red static. The computer does NOT lock up, and I can still hear music playing/affect iTunes if it was selected at the time, or hear whatever game was loading continue to load.

It's just the display that seems to get screwy. If the change is done by a game, like Halo which I have been using as a test, I can force quit back to desktop and the display returns to normal.

I have NO IDEA where to begin fixing this problem... I do know that my monitor is a 120hz 22", the newer model from viewsonic, and 120hz on an LCD is a new thing, so I don't know if that is what's causing the complication.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you add your DeviceID to NVDAResman.kext and NVDANV50Hal.kext? http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4

I may not have added it to NVDAResman, come to think of it, as I only remember adding the device/vender ID to one kext.

I will try that now.

Edit: I'm sure now- NVDAResman info.plist still shows stock value for IOPCIMatch... let me update and reboot.

Edit 2: Added info to IOPCIMatch in NVDAResman.kext info.plist.

No change in situation- Halo running full screen still is just static. Still doesn't lock up pc (can hear mouse over sounds from menu options, forcequits to desktop and restores screen).
