A while ago, I was told I need nForce Ethernet drivers for my Compaq.

I'm scared to do a re-install, as its taken me a long time just to get the basics to function.

I don't know if ANY of the CDs I have even have the drivers I need or how to get them if they did.

Can someone advise me how to read what drivers are on a disk without going thru an install, as a few won't even load on this machine.

At least, where can I get the kexts I need?

Check for your device ID.

This Kernel Extensions works for most nForce Ethernet chips:

There is no video kext for your integrated graphics. You could use any nvidia geforce card, like for example Geforce 6200, any 7 or 8 series geforce cards as well.
