Well
I have an AMD Semprom with Kalyway 10.5.2 installed. Everything (except video - the course of Xpress 200M) works fine, audio too.
But audio have some issues, playing any audio file it work. But it fail, have some involuntary pause, the sound is fail.
And working on solve this, I ve found the problem: the problem is the PS2 trackpad.
If I run a playlist and for example go have a lunch, it plays fine with no interruption! Then I was thinking that could be any performance problem... but i realize that if I run a playlist and use only the keyboard, with no trackpad, i have no interruption too.
Then I started to realize: is the trackpad of my PS2 Controller who "crashes" my sound. I ve made some tests and that is true: the problem is the PS2 Trackpad.
My motherboard/chipset is ATI SB400.
And not, i`m not crazy, i`m sure the problem is the trackpad when at work.
I use VoodooPS2Controller, should I use another? The problem is: is there another?
Does anyone here had this problem? Anyone know a solution? Any kext i have to remove?
To installation, I just removed ApplePS2Controller and AppleAC97Audio (and installed mine, the problem is not on this) and USB kexts, my PS2 does not work with USB, the SB400 chipset has some conflicts.
Thanks!
And sorry about my english!
