help with Zephyroth 10.5.2 AMD install

hi everyone, I'm completely new to this. I just picked up Zeph's 10.5.2 for AMD and when I try to boot it, i get a grey screen with the apple logo and it stays that way forever.

my hardware:

Athlon64 3700+
Asus A8n vm-csm motherboard
1GB DDR400
Geforce 7600GT
USB keyboard
USB mouse

Im trying to install on a 120GB IDE hdd. I made a 7GB FAT32 partition on it.
(Im also running winXP on a separate SATA drive).

any help much appreciated

Try turning off legacy support for USB in your bios..it seems to hanging at that.
