So i have a laptop not very new model.
It is Dell d820, C2D T7200 CPU, 2GB RAM, Nvidia,
motherboard model: 0JF242
chipset: Dell 955XM/945GM/PM/GMS/940GML Express Processor to DRAM Controller

It has one big enough SATA HDD inside with Windows 7 Ultimate (build 7600) installed on it. Disk is formated to NTFS as it is default to Windows 7 during install.

My question is:
How can i install Mac OS X 10.6.3 retail (I have iso image and DVD ready) on that same drive without Deleting Windows 7 ?

I already tried to follow couple of tutorials that suggest to shrink the disk and then install OS X on it. However when i try to install OS X installer asks for GUID disk which i can not create without deleting Windows 7.
Any ideas on that?
Is there any other ways or tutorials...

You have to modify installation image, so it would allow you to install OS X on MBR disk.

1. Make sure your partitions are in order( you need at least 3)
You need 1 partition for windows which should already be installed, you need another partition for OSX which you will install at a later time(at least 40 gigs),and then a partition for ubuntu (only 7 gigs).
2. Install Ubuntu 10.4 on the 7 gig partition.
3. Check to make sure you can still boot into windows (should be able to as Ubuntu is made to be run side by side with Windows)
4. Install OSX on your other partition (< 40 gigs)
5. Install Ubuntu 10.4 again on the 7 gig partition
6.Upon Reboot Grub should show Ubuntu, Windows, and Mac allowing you to change between them effortlessly

This is and overly simply guide if you need more help don't hesitate to askHope you'll be enjoying your new hackintosh
