i am facing an issue of updating the existing iatkos s3 v2 to 10.6.4. I mean, for me the software updates are not working properly, I have almost tried for like 10+ times but it crashes always. After i make the software update everything installs normally but after the reboot, sometime i have kernel mismatch error or panic error. But it never boots again, this has started only since 10.6.4 released. I am attaching my hardware info generated by CPU-Z program. I am totally newbie to Apple OSx and i was wondering, if my iatkos fails to install the latest upgrades from apple ,is there any way that instead of erasing the partition again and installing the fresh OS ,i could just use the backup and restore which could make the process faster as i have gone through a tough time installing this iatkosv7 again and again.I mean just like windows xp boot repair or system restore kind of. By the way i had chose only one necessary kernel while installing the osx.Thank you.

My Hardware Configuration :
Lenovo g550 model
Dual Core pentium processor, T4400 2.20Ghz
3GB RAM
Graphics intel 4 series express chipset family
Chipset Intel GL40
Instructions sets MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, EM64T

(sorry for my bad grammar)

goodness a strange thing happened just now.I don't know ,i didn't installed any kind of update ,it was booting fine and all of a sudden now its kernel ip failed error. Luckily i have took the backup of EXTENSIONS folder from mac so is there anyway that through the command prompt i can replace the kext or restore the kext and make the boot working again ? and i have googled regarding the commands, i am afraid there are plenty of kext, do i have to copy each and everyone through the terminal by the help of Iatkosv7 DVD boot ? Please i don't want to risk my hdd by reinstalling mac again and again. Thank you.

Edited :
I am sorry but currently i moved to a new place so just having my blackberry and i have snapped the picture of the error i am having while boot. Please don't mind on the picture quality ,if you or any other member trying to help aren't getting the error , i can snap it again. Thank you.

I would suggest that you boot with -v-f and undo any new kext files or anything like that you may have done. Also, use Time Machine. It actually works and will help you a lot.

Well i simply used the rm command and removed the VoodooHDA.kext from single user boot command :D and i don't know it started working.Posting my screenshot of fully working 10.6.4 OS. Thanks a load , just need a small help from you because i dont want to create another thread for that.Currently i am not having any sound and another thing is when i reply and press enter in YAHOO MESSENGER chat box ,it hangs for second and deliver the message. It happened in last reinstalls too and i tried removing and reinstalling it again. Is there any way to fix it.
