I broke down and bought a Geforce 6200 256mb agp off newegg. OS recognized it right away but i could only boot in safe mode. Had to change the injector kexts with my hardware I'd number. Now i have full resolution control, colors, refresh rate, etc. Just NO hardware acceleration. That means no qe/ci.

I realized this morning that I had deleted all geforce LEDs from the s/l/e folder, so I went into backups and reinstalled them using osx86 tools. Repaired permissions and rebooted. Now I boot to a black screen with a live cursor. I can boot into os x in safe mode just fine. When I get home from work (I am on an iPhone so please excuse grammar) I will do a -v to see where it hangs.

Could I possibly get a list of things to try when I get home? I'd sure appreciate it. I do not have agpgart installed. But I do have the NV suite of injectors installed, along with natit. I asked this question on another forum and they basically told me to pound sand... "that card isn't supported." so I stated that it was on the wiki compatibility list. Response? "if you're so smart why are you here?"

Not a good answer to me, so I turn my hopes to this forum, so i can get some useful information. I did read on here to get rid of all injectors and just use efistudio to string it. Wil give that a shot if I can figure it out. Sorry for the ramble.. I thank you all for the help!!

edit: got it going using universal nvidia drivers. (name of package).
