Asus P5K / EPU

I've got iATKOS S3 v2 but can't install it.
The DVD boots just fine but i can't find any of my drives.
I know that this is a AHCI issue (since P5K/EPU can't enable it).

Is there anyone here who know how / or if my hardware even is supported for 10.6?

You found the way to run 10.6.x in you p5k/epu? I'm with the same motherboard, I've tried it in the past with no results.

Recently I faced with the same problem. (I have also a PC with Asus P5K mb.)
I searched google and found this topic at Asus support forum. the topic clearly describes how to crossflash P5K bios with Asus P5KR Mb.'s bios.

I tried this method and I could succesfully enable AHCI mode with my P5K mb.

I kindly remind you that it is a risky method and do it with your own risk. (no blame on me)
Also, it is a log thread and you should read till end not to miss any detail.
