Got a great deal on a AMD x6 1055t, anyone have any experiences with the amd x6 1055t on snow leopard? can you recommend a motherboard under $150 that will work with SL? Thanks:)

All i can tell you is that am using GA 880GM-UD2H (rev1.3), it's onboard ATI HD4250 gfx is totally incompatible with any of the OSX's. Have tried Iatkos v7 10.5.7 and Hazard's 10.6.2.
I still have not been able to install any OSX, but the quest is on. Last week I bought NVIDIA Geforce 8400GS 512MB gfx card which am using, Nvidia is pretty compatible with OSX's
Am on Win 7 both on 32&64 each on separate hard drives.
Let's see.

Yep. What kalmdave said. I have a hp pavillion with AMD 64x2 4800 on a mp61 board with nforce 430 chipset and it has been very difficult to get going. I also have the nvidia 4800gs like kalmdave and it rocks. My ATI 2400 pro hd will not work with snow leopard (hazard) but worked great with iatkos v7. So just do your research, try to stick with nvidia GPU and stay away from nforce chipsets if you can. I get ApplenforceATA errors at boot on all distros from my chipset. Good luck! :)
