SL on HP DC7600

Hello,
I have a stock HP DC7600 I’m trying to install SL on. I’ve tried the following with no luck:

- Using iATKOS S3 / V2 I tried the install options specified in this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=234354
Result: Almost there! The install locked up with 8 minutes left on the install and most of the progress bar filled.
- Using iATKOS S3 / V2 I tried the install options shown in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHLxrJAC1Qs
Result: The install locks up with 15 minutes left and about half of the progress bar filled.
- Using iBoot and a retail SL install disk
Result: I didn’t even make it to the screen that lets me pick install options.
- For kicks and giggles I tried ideneb v1.4
Result: I don’t make it to the screen that lets me pick install options either.

I’ve read other forum posts where people get this running pretty easy using iATKOS S3 / V2, but no luck for me.

Can anybody point me in the right direction? Different hacked version to use? Different install options to pick?
