After the success with Acer 9411 i decide to try iatkos on my new laptop TOSHIBA L505 13N.

Specs:
----------------
CPU: intel i5 430M
RAM: 4 GB
VGA: ATI mobility radeonHD 5165 (1 GB vram) - max res:1366x768 , This card is just a renamed HD 4650 with higher clock rates. (DevID: 9480:1002)
AUDIO: Realtek HDA, ALC272
WIRED: Realtek 8101/8102E
WIRELESS: Realtek 8191/8192 SE (DevID: 8172)
WEBCAM: UVC webcam (DevID: 04f2:b128)
HD: 500 GB

-----------------------------------------------------------------
WORKING: mouse,keyboard,wired,audio/microphone, ati vga(not at full resolution)
NOT WORKING (so far): wireless, webcam, sleep

PROBLEMS: cpu fan working hard
----------------------------------------------------------------

The system had 3 partitions:
1: Windows7 hidden partition (recovery partition) 400MB
2: Windows7 250GB
3: Data 250GB

I resized the 3rd partition within Windows disk management console, leaving 50 GB unallocated space for Mac OSX.

Next booted from ubuntu live cd and with GPARTED tool i created a hfs+ partition(disk0s4) for OSX (this was a little tricky because gparted needs hfsprogs utility installed in order to be able to create hfs+ partition - so i downloaded the utility from ubuntu packages web site while working in live cd mode). Another more easy way is to have a gparted or partedmagic live cd to do the job.

So i was ready to boot from iatkos dvd...
Installation was painful because at first tries system rebooting constantly when the gray screen with apple logo appears. I passed this issue with the flag busratio=20 at boot options. In Customization i've selected nothing more from defaults except the ATI enabler.

I didn't want to erase windows 7 boot loader, so the AsereBLN bootloader installed in root partition of OSX (disk0 partition 4).

-----------------------------------------------------------------
When installation was over i left the dvd in drive in order to boot OSX but no luck...chameleon boot loader from dvd shows the option but when i select it the system rebooting constantly when the gray screen with apple logo appears. Trying various boot options (busratio, cpus, -x, -v, -s, -f) didn't helped. After little search i've founded an iBoot CD image which burned on a CD and booted with that...guess what...the osx booted and i was able to hear the welcome music BUT some strange artifacts appeared on the screen instead of normal graphics. Rebooted with this cd but in safe mode (-x) and this time things went well. I setup keyboard, language, user data and finally i was in osx desktop.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
At this time wired ethernet was not working so i used my second laptop to download, burn to cd and install drivers to Toshiba. I 've found kext for my ethernet which working very well. Also found an ATI driver for a similar card with different name which working at 1024x768 resolution (i m able to boot in normal mode now). Finally we have a working OSX with just the necessary.

---------------------------------------------------------------
After all these i tried to boot from hard disk to Windows...i surprised when i realized that i was not able to boot in windows. Maybe OSX installation removes some flags such as ACTIVE or BOOT. Rebooted from ubuntu live cd again and from gparted i putted the boot flag to windows partition (disk0s2). Rebooted from hd...no luck. Xmmm...ubuntu live cd again - gparted - boot flag to windows HIDDEN partition(disk0s1) - rebooted - YES i'm able to boot again to windows7 as before.

When i 've more time i 'll try to find working drivers for the rest and especially better driver for graphics card. Also when my system will be working as i expected i will try to replace win7 booloader with chameleon ( or put osx option in windows boot loader with easybcd tool). Until then i 'll boot with iBoot CD.

The whole process was far more difficult and time consuming with this laptop than my older ACER 9411.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT 1 (12 JAN 2011): i have some minor problems with ethernet...i m using the Lnx2Mac driver ( Realtek's RTGMac drivers not working) and sometimes(rarely) i have kernel panics (especially when using the search bar in safari ). Also can't enable QE for my ATI (DevID:9480 Chipset: RadeonHD4890 from System Profiler) - tried various kexts which reported to be working fine on desktop pc but no luck. Yet no solution for CPU fan noise.
