components:
gigabyte g31m-es2l rev 2.0
gigabyte gv-n84s-512l nvidia geforce 8400gs
e6600 cpu
2gb corsair ddr2
500gb sata hd

have been trying to install using this guide:
=****************>> INSTRUCTION IS NOT COMPLICATED - ITS V - Mac OS 10.6.5 on G31M-ES2L

if i switch the pc with no os......the hdmi(with hdmi converter),dvi and vga all work.
i dont have a monitor so i have been using my 42" led lcd tv....has vga and hdmi.

the following is when its connected to the tv via hdmi.
when i install myhack onto the memory stick.....if i tick the graphics enabler....it installs ok but when i restart i just get a black screen.
if i install myhack without the enabler it.....it restarts fine but in the graphics card part.....the card isnt recognised.

if i leave the enabler off and install nvenabler64.kext then i can get vga through the vga and dvi ports......can also change the resolution upto 1280x1024 i think it is.
also the graphics card is recognised and it can see the 2 displays and allows me to select 1080p for the hdmi to tv.....but if i switch it off.....unplug the vga and just have the hdmi in......i just get a black screen.
i have also tried a dvi to hdmi adaptor but the results are the same.
the tv flashes up its own display(like when u change channel) and says 1080p @50hz so it seems like a signal of sorts is getting to the tv.

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

try pciroot set to 1 in the boot plist for chameleon in your extra folder on the EFI partition

<key>PciRoot</key>
<string>1</string>

I have the same MB and a PNY nVidia 8400GS thats how I get my video card to work

I downloaded and installed 10.6.6 and have no issues.
