Hello again, community.

Maybe I stupid, but i cannot find PPF patch to make 10.5.2 rev2 DVD from 10.5.2.
Sorry for this question, but i cannot download 4Gb every time (i have only 128k unlim).

There is no PPF for rev2 because the diff size was too near to iso size itself.

If the PPF was applied as Zephyroth had said earlier, the size would be too large and would have to require each of us to burn a dual layer 8.5GB disk instead. Would you want to do that? I don't think so. =)

I apologise for my bad English

Whether costs hopes for exit PPF for Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI (rev 1) here with these critical corrections:
1 - New options

----> Single Boot & Dual Boot

Under Single Boot
---> Darwin MBR EFI v8
---> Darwin GUID EFI v8 (fixed)

2 - New ToH kernel 9.2.0 (reboot & shutdown fix for some systems).

Various fix:
---> AppleSMBIOS-27 (Revison 3 - Updated 18/02/2008 - Fix CS3)

I cannot download 4Gb every time (i have only 64k unlim)

To tell the truth, Im not downloading or installing the new rev 2

I have a mostlly fully working version of 10.5.2 on raid, all my devices are installed and detected. I use guid already, the manual method wasn't so hard.

I have updated the kernel and most of the new kexts already that are in the new update. + There have been a few problems with a few programs in rev 2 such as ichat and such, that zeph commented he may have made a mistake with.

In my opinion you are better off using rev 1 and learning a bit about leopard and unix by installing the update kernel and any kexts you need, installing the guid manually.

If you need any help updating to the same as rev 2 we can give you advice, there is really no need to download rev 2 unless you have a sata dvd drive, or could not install rev 1 due to hardware problems.

please don't feel its necessary to update to 10.5.2 rev 2 as it can all be done manually with a little effort, unless of course you cannot install rev 1.

Good Luck most of the install commands for the rev 2 updates can be found in this forum

You make sense, and nothing to comment about your post. You are doing what is right. I would do the same, but unfortunately, I consider myself too savvy, lol. =)
