Install Snow Leapord by Hazzard 10.6.2 on Dell Dimension e521

Hi, I recently tried to dual boot win7 and snow leopard on my dell dimension e521. It failed and I was forced to wipe and reinstall win7. I have heard it's possible to do this but have decided to install snow leopard on a different hard drive. Can someone please walk me through how to do this and what I will need to choose in the "customize" section on the boot disk? Any help appreciated.

My system specs:
AMD athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4600+ 2.4ghz
3 gb RAM
N-force chipset
XFX ATI Radeon 5770 HD
160 gb sata hd (WINDOWS)
80 gb sata hd (What will be snow Leopard)
