Hi, I have a hp pavilion ZX5000. Its a DTR media laptop, and its stuck on windows xp atm. I really want to install snow leopard on it as:
It has a ATi Radeon 9200 (which were in the ibook g4's)
A pentium 4 3.2Ghz with SSE2/SSE3
When I boot from the CD it shows up with the still waiting for root device. I dont know why it is doing this, but I am pretty sure it is because it uses an ide hard drive. It also may be with my distro of mac os x.
Any suggestions on how to fix this, or which mac os x I should get (kalyway, hazard, etc) would be much appreciated.
I am new to these forums! :)
Thanks, Seb Smith
