View Full Version : nVidia 6150 doesn't work

I installed Zephyroth's 10.5.2 (the first one) on my system:

Processor: Athlon 64 3000+
Motherboard: MSI K8NGN2 , nForce 430 chipset
Graphics: nVidia GeForce 6150 (Onboard)
Monitor: Asus 19" Widescreen, connected to the DVI port (1440x900)

The NVinject drivers on the DVD seem to have no effect.

I tried these drivers: http://scottdangel.com/blog/?p=21
and only got some Kernel panics.

I modified the info.plst files in the kexts and changed the device IDs in "<key>IOPCIMatch</key>" etc., but to no effect. The max resolution Display Preferences is offering is 1024x768. It looks revolting.

Help!

Your graphics is not supported, i´m sorry. You can buy another graphics card. (7300-7600-8600...)

Isn't there any other build of Leopard (or Tiger or Darwin) that supports it? At all?

Thanks.

No CI/QE (hardware acelerated graphics) for onboard 6100-6150, you need a PCI-E card.

That's sad...
Thanks anyway.
