Well since you have Intel Core Duo processor, you can install Lion on your machine... Try searching this forum for more info. You should start with this thread http://osx86.co/f101/how-install-osx-lion-on-pc-t7279/

No idea mate, I dont have much experience with OSX. I can give you the link of Snow Leo distro which i used to install on AMD system. It hast all kexts and kernels for both AMD/intel..
Then, if you manage to install Snow Leo, you can easily upgrade to Lion.

Snow_Leopard_OSX86_64_For_INTEL_AMD_32_64_MBR_GUID (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5401125/SNOWLEO_MAC_Snow_Leopard_OSX86_64_For_INTEL_AMD_32 _64_MBR_GUID)

Hi,
i installed iDeneb Leopard 10.5.6 on my Mobo P4M890T-M2.

This Mb is very bit complicate to boot , but here what i done ...

Install OSX as usual selecting your HW
Install finish
Boot OSx and get same error "Mac framework ... stop"

So Fix it ...

Boot on windows ( i have a dual boot HDD) and use TansMac to access OSX partition and to copy some Kexts on /S/L/E forlder ( /System/Library/Extensions ).

Then reboot OSX , repair permission

That's it

These are the kexts i substituted using OSX Leopard 10.5.5 original DVD
AppleAPIC.kext
AppleACPIPlatform.kext
IOACPIFamily.kext

Best regards

Hi,
i could zip these Kext for you, but these are for Leopard only ... and i supposed that you are trying to install Snow leopard

So i would do better, right now i'm walking to upgrade my old Pc P4M890T-M2 to Snow Leopard or OSx Lion ... if i will get success , i will post how-to here ...
Stay tuned ...

Hi Dj-Elroy,
if you want to install Leopard you need these Kexts and follows these steps:

1) Install iDeneb DVD with these options:
- Kernel Voodoo 9.5.0
- Chipset Via/sis/marvell
- NvDarwin 512Mb - video per GeForce 7300 -> only if you have my same Video card
- network card RTL3189 - no kext needed OOB
- audio card - ALC662 -> install Kext later
- AppleACPI_SMC_Fix -> very important
- Cpus=1 Fix -> very important
- All applications - if you want

When the installation on HDD is finished and reboot PC, you stop here :
....
MAC Framework successfully initialized
using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers ...
.....

2) Now from windows XP , use transMac to copy/update the kexts needed
if a kext is present , you need to delete it before to copy to S/L/E
- AppleACPIPlatform.Kext
- AppleAPIC.Kext
- AppleVia.Kext
- AppleVIAATA.Kext
- IOFamilyPlugIn.Kext

3) Now reboot HDD with -x -v parameters ( use also cpus=1 if you don't have select it during installation)

if you get a Kernel Panic on AppleACPIFamilyPlugIn (you need to reinstall Fix ACPI SMC Fix fron ideneb DVD ) deselect "main system" to make fast patch otherwise all the files are reinstalled ( it takes too much).

4) Now you get welcome screen, bla bla, create user ,etc.

5) Then with KextHelper you can install audio card ALC662 using AppleHDA.kext inside ALC662_kext.zip

6) That's it

See attached Files

Cheers

Hints:
- In Bios set SATA to IDE compatible mode
- To dual boot from Win XP you have to use chain0 and modify boot.ini adding a line C:\chain0="Mac OS X86"
you can get here
