Hi all. I'm a newbie to this site and i want to install Mac OS X alongside Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux (both 64-bit) in my DELL Inspiron 15R N5010 laptop (core i3, 8GB RAM). Detailed system information in below screen shots.

I have few questions (maybe silly) before I get started

1) Is it possible to install mac os x without removing windows 7 and reactivating chameleon bootloader to work for all 3 Oses? I have MBR partition table, so is there a way to convert it into GUID?

2) Which version of Mac would you recommend? I have been hearing Snow Leopard is more compatible and runs faster than Mac OS X Lion (especially in hackintosh machines).

3) Would u recommend going for a retail version of mac and do a tonymac custom multibeast? Or should I go for iAtkos or Hazard OSX custom build? And I also would like to know the various differences between them, their pros and cons?

4) I currently have Snow Leopard running in my vmware workstation, but i miss a lot of functionality and the Operating system isnt that fast and it doesnt support flash content in browser and also keypad scroll seems to be missing. Is there a way to rectify it? I tried putting it few custom kexts like voodoo and realtek and it doesn't seem to work.

My Requirement

I'm looking to run OS X as full time OS with almost all functionality, including programming, app development and multimedia entertainment.

If these questions have been asked before. Kindly redirect me to those links. Any help would be much appreciated.

The only concrete guide I have got till now is the Lifehacker's hackintosh easy build guide which u can find in this link http://lifehacker.com/5672051/how-to-build-a-hackintosh-mac-and-install-os-x-in-eight-easy-steps

1-Download EasyBSD and add your other OSes OSX is also supported(in windows)
while adding OSX make sure the mode is EFI

2-Snow Leopard

3-Go with any distro because its less complicated(thats what i feel)

4-Dont run OSX in vmware it manipulates all hardware details and its no sense getting kexts
for it
