Transmac doesn't convert dmgs to isos, but you can use it to put the installation media on usb.

Also, we don't support piracy here ;)

But as a tip I say, it doesn't matter, and you can go to 10.6.8 easily.

Guide didn't work for my computer anyways. The problem I have with the retail Snow Leopard is that it will not boot without the nawcom boot cd. Also, that Chameleon boot cd they gave the link to on that website does not work with my computer. It ticks me off that the only Mac operating system I could get to work is the distro and not the retail. The Retail felt better than the Distro but I'm not going to want to load up Nawcom's boot disc each time I want to load the retail. I don't get it.

I downloaded Chameleon latest version and installed it but it didn't fix it. I downloaded a 10.6.5 kernel package and installed it and that still didn't fix it. Retail is very frustrating to get to work, doesn't seem simple and it seems like that since all our computers are different that there's different ways to get it to work right. Ashame the metods I seen don't seem to favor my systems rig.

I tried another guide and it also did not work.

This worked for me when I started using OSx86 on an AMD computer (well, I had Intel before, but it died)

And you don't need the disc at all if you setup chameleon and the kext correctly. Just be sure to download the combo update from Apple's site instead of using Software Update, the rest you can get from Software Update, though.

My secondary rig is on 10.6.8 at the moment, with AMD, so I know it works as long as you get the correct Kexts and install the legacy kernel. :)

It won't even let me install 10.6.8, I get an install error each time from 10.6.3.(Says something about a failed install and I googled the problem and others had same problem as me but no one had a fix) The only update I got to work is 10.6.5 but I still can't boot the computer without nawcom's modcd which is whacked. The first thing I installed was the chameleon boot loader to my harddrive because another website said that is how it's suppose to be done.

Well, it SHOULD say the installation has failed on AMD's. I have seen it on Intel multiple times, just reboot and it works. ;)
