Hi Guys,

I got a HTPC board AMD E350 running at 1.7Ghz Stable. It runs quite well with windows Vista Ultimate.i would like to try a MAC os x version,i am not keen with latest release or something,Just any mac version.

kindly pour in your options.

Note i tried few version,i get plist missing or dont even load Cpu restarts.i believe it must be the Chip-set support issue, is it really possible to make this thing work with mac ?

Thanks

Hi demigod!

That processor's built-in GPU is not and probably never will be supported by OS X: that pretty much rules out its use as an HTPC; however, since your motherboard has one PCI-E x16 slot, if your case is big enough, you could add a supported graphics card.

As for installing Mac OS X, here is one guide (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253767-amd-1068-guide-written-by-devout/) among many for installing Mac OS X 10.6.8. Since your processor supports SSSE3, it might even run 10.7.X perfectly, although there have not been any reports of the APUs working with OS X 10.7 that I know of.

Good luck!
